You knew I had to do it sooner or later! From Bill Whittle at eject....on the Obama win.

On Tuesday, the Left – armed with the most attractive, eloquent, young, hip and charismatic candidate I have seen with my adult eyes, a candidate shielded by a media so overtly that it can never be such a shield again, who appeared after eight years of an historically unpopular President, in the midst of two undefended wars and at the time of the worst financial crisis since the Depression and whose praises were sung by every movie, television and musical icon without pause or challenge for 20 months… who ran against the oldest nominee in the country’s history, against a campaign rent with internal disarray and determined not to attack in the one area where attack could have succeeded, and who was out-spent no less than seven-to-one in a cycle where not a single debate question was unfavorable to his opponent – that historic victory, that perfect storm of opportunity…

Yielded a result of 53%

Folks, we are going to lick these people out of their boots.

There is much to do. That a man with such overt Marxist ideas and such a history of association with virulent anti-Americans can be elected President should make it crystal clear to each of us just how far we have let fall the moral tone of this Republic. The great lesson from Ronald Reagan was simply that we can and must gently educate as well as campaign, and explain our ideas with smiles on our faces and real joy in our hearts. For unlike the far-left radical who gained the Presidency on Tuesday, we start with 150 million of the most free and intelligent and hard-working people in the history of the Earth at our backs, with a philosophy that -- unlike theirs, which has resulted in 100 million dead in unmarked graves -- has liberated and enriched more people and created more joy than any nation or combination of nations in our history.

How can we lose this greater fight, my friends? How can we lose, unless we give up?

**He was equating the loss of the election to the battle at Shenandoah with Sheridan leading the Union to defeat the Rebels Laughing

I'm of the mindset that I just want to sit back and watch the democrats implode on themselves. They've already started. Once those morons who voted him into office see that they are not going to get anything, things will start to fall apart. They are waiting.

I don't even hardly consider myself a republican anymore because I think I'm more of a libertarian. Limited government - just get the hell out of my life and quit confiscating my earnings for anything other than what services government was intended to provide.

I keep hearing "Give him a chance "

Say what ??? After seeing his administration picks ??? Are you people for real ???

I am NOT a Republican. I am a conservative, something you never hear anymore.

This country suffered under Bush because he spent like there was no tomorrow.

His biggest mistake. We will all pay for that.

I have no use for Obama or his socialist agenda. I have no problem helping people but the day you make it plain and clear you will TAKE from me to GIVE to someone else that WON'T work for it is the day I say OH HELL NO. I will fight you all the wy.

The people shouldn't and I'm hoping WON'T stand for this.

Al Franken ??? Can you imagine. OMG.

Yeah, I thought for a while I might be a Liberatarian. Truth is, I am a CONSERVATIVE and I've been following the wrong Repubs for many years. Since Reagan left office there haven't been any true Conservative Republicans. Ron Paul is a Lib, I wouldn't get behind anyone that believes what he does.

I am a libertarian 100% to the core. Ron Paul, he ain't no libertarian, I tell you that. I hope they have a better strategy in 3 years. Of course if the Mayans got it right, it won't matter.

However, now, I believe we are in for one big ole cluster fuck. Any one notice a 20 cent hike in gas over the last week?

Yup. Aside from grapefruit, ain't nothing a bargain. Although I did get a flyer that a local grocery store will be selling bison from 1/21-28. $4.99 a pound. And THAT is a deal. Go figger.

Why is it that if something costs $2.99, but they mark it to 2-for-$6 it seems cheaper?

All of this price increase crap has extended my shopping trips to HOURS. Tim compares EVERYTHING. Compares his price per oz, or lb, whatever, to ensure he is getting the best deal. Sheesh.

I took this, I ain't Libertarian.

http://www.theadvocates.org/quizp/quiz.php

CENTRISTS espouse a "middle ground" regarding government control of the economy and personal behavior. Depending on the issue, they sometimes favor government intervention and sometimes support individual freedom of choice.

Centrists pride themselves on keeping an open mind,

tend to oppose "political extremes," and emphasize what

they describe as "practical" solutions to problems.

Except for the decriminalizing of pot, and MOST state's rights issues, I can't get into the whole freedom from government thing. Individual freedom of choice isn't working out too well for most peeps. If people knew how to make good choices we wouldn't need half the laws we have now. Most of those laws protect ME (the honest citizen) from THEM (the not so honest)....

Alrighty, I'm done for the day lol!

BUT BUT BUT

They have an open mind !!!!

Then their brains fall out.

BWAHAHAHA!!!!

We're gonna be a tagless bunch here.

Prove to me you can budget like I do, not spend what you don't have, not give away everything my husband worked very hard for. STOP ALL THAT DAMN FREE FOREIGN AID !!!!!

When that happens, I will vote for you. Until then, shut up. Bunch of con men and women. Mad

hehe...go figger, I SAID I was a libertarian....

"LIBERTARIANS support maximum liberty in both personal and economic matters. They advocate a much smaller government; one that is limited to protecting individuals from coercion and violence.

Libertarians tend to embrace individual responsibility, oppose government bureaucracy and taxes, promote private charity, tolerate diverse lifestyles, support the free market, and defend civil liberties."

They also want to end welfare, altogether, and foreign aid. I would cut and paste, but if you are interested, check out lp.org.

See, for me, I don't believe we should have alot of stupid laws we have. Like the helmet law for example. If you want to ride a motorcycle without a helmut and you die, well, that is just one down for Darwin. We should not have so many bloody laws protecting people from themselves.
(on record I will say that children under voting age should be seatbelted and helmeted tho)

I do not believe in welfare. I do not believe in social security. Frankly, I don't want the govt involved in my bidness at all.

But, I don't mind what anyone else is. I think I may have finally found the place where we can have good ole honest discourse, before it falls into name calling, and "my way is the only way" mentality, eh?

Yes dear, you can be whatever you want to be here.

And for the record, if you want to pay for it, enjoy it, stay HOME and use it, I think you should be able to purchase any drug you want after the age of 40. Very Happy

I HATE the government being in my business too. The good always suffer for the bad.

Dumbasses.

Not a thing I can add to what everybody has said but I agree 100% with everybody. I don't argue politics or religion. I don't feel like I know enough about either one to argue about them so I just keep my mouth shut unless I agree with someone. In this case You all preach it and I'll pat my foot and say amen.

I just keep remembering what BO said during the campaign. You know, we cant continue to eat whatever we want, keep driving whatever we want, and keep our houses at 72 degrees.

Bullshit.

Coming from someone who got "deals" on his crib and everything else in his life, that's rich.

Face it girls, we don't know the "right" people.

How come none of those butts suffer ??? They profit while we all struggle.

How can you represent the common man when you aren't one ???

It just stinks.

I'm telling ya'll, and this ain't informationclearinghouse Smile

The people will revolt. You cannot tax the middle class into poverty.

America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.~ Abraham Lincoln

I LOVE ole Ben...I named my son after him didn't I? Yep, those men knew what they were doing...leave to us to muck it up. One of my fave movies is "The Patriot" and then there's "Braveheart". Wait, maybe it's just Mel I'm interested in!
