the federal is free. The state costs BUT you dont have to do the state if you dont want to with the online thing.

It doesnt offer city but I dont know any of them that do

I tell ya, I have been doing everyone's taxes with that program!

if not, try TurboTax.com I like the taxact.com better. Doc mentioned using it last year and so I tried it this year.

I like the free part. We ain't got no stinking state income tax in Texas. We pay out the nose in sales tax, but at least you can be discretionary.
