Today started off with a wonderful phone call from Glenn's grandmother. Gawd I love that woman. She ALWAYS made me feel like I was born into that family rather than married into it.

Another surprise ??? My MIL remembered my birthday. Oh yeah, shocking the shit out of me.

AND my son remembered. Not breakfast in bed but he baked biscuits.

It's raining and I don't care. I got friends and loved ones. I feel so blessed.

That is the thing that always gets me on my bday too. It ain't about presents or nothing, but the nice surprises you get when someone remembers you. I think birthdays are the most important holiday there is. I mean, who is more important than yourself, eh?

Glad you are having a good one. Nice and sunny here, should be there before the day is out.

I had to wait until Glenn went to bed to post this but he forgot it was my birthday.

No I'm not upset. He has lots on his mind, a big project he's finishing, another one starting, getting up very early, coming back late. It's hard for him to keep track of the days. I told Jonathan not to say a word about it.
