New AIM Virus Warning - Web Cam Message - Do Not Open!

This is a copy of an e-mail I sent out about a new AIM virus. Yes, I used the word "advise."



Hi all,

Dan just advised me about a new virus going through the AIM system. If you get a request from someone on your AIM list who is asking you to help them test their web came, do not click on the link. They may also ask you to open a link to a video. Do not click on any of these links.

That is all the information I have.

Speaking of viruses

I got that Anti-Virus 2009 crap twice. The first time it came in I couldn't get it off but Jonathan got it.

The second time, I got it by running all my scans.

If you're that bored and smart, can't find anything constructive to do with your time, you should be jailed for inventing and releasing that crap.

I say at least a year.

I'll bet then you'll think of something more creative legally to do while you're locked up.

I have to confess I use "please advise" with correspondence at work or some other official thing.

I do not use in my every day dealings with people, though.
