no wonder my ears were burning! I was just about to post that I did go to the dr and he said it was coming along fine and I could go w/o the bootie for short times if I wanted to. But I will continue to wear it unless I HAVE A DATE. <<maniacal laugh>>

it is removable. It is one of those post-op booties with the lovely velcro strips.
Yep I took it off to sleep too. It is very hard and doesnt bend at all. I cant tell you how many pairs of socks I have ruined though cus my foot hangs out--the toe area is open.
